Mrs. A,
retired Counselor, reported:
I was afraid
“Worries Won’t Happen – Fred’s Story” would be emotional reading but instead
it’s a story we all know. Childhood and
school and first love! The book is great. I believe all should tell friends.

Anyone else
with a picture to send me? It would make
my day!

REPORT
ON FRED’S SCHOLARSHIP
Glendale
Community College advises that $17,586.67 has now been donated to the Dr. Fred
Cheshire Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Isn’t that fantastic! One family,
with adult children, gave their Christmas presents to Fred’s Scholarship Fund
instead of each other. Twenty-two cents
were the last two figures on a couple of gifts, thus honoring Fred’s
birthday. You all are giving me
goosebumps!
Scholarships
for $250 each will be awarded shortly. In
my next letter I should have more details about how we are giving students a helping
hand.
REPORT
ON “THERE’S NOTHING I CAN’T DO”
The first part
of the book is the tough part. I’m going
back through notes written at the time, 1977-early 1978, back when I would
scribble something late at night or save a scrap of paper about a person or
meeting. It will get easier when the
part is reached about Fred beginning his new life.
Any friend who
knew Fred in a wheelchair, would you write me at mimar102@cox.net or call me at 602-340-8048? If you’ll give me some help, then I’ll shout
Hooray!
